Built from 1922 to 1929, the small Amilcar C4 was intended for family use. It was presented at the Paris Motor Show at the same time as the CC and CS, but its chassis was slightly longer and stiffer. Different bodies were offered: roadsters, sports roadsters, sedans and even a utility called "small delivery car". This variety of styles available suited a wide customer base, and enjoyed exceptional popularity during its eight years of production. This success was also due to its very advantageous prices.
