As was the case for the previous models, the Lancia Flavia and Flaminia, Lancia entrusted coachbuilder Zagato with the task of producing the Fulvia Sport version. Designed by Ercole Spada, the Lancia Fulvia Sport had, as always for these versions, an unusual and very aerodynamic line. Its bodywork, worthy of the great master coachbuilders, was in aluminium, then in steel for the second series. The mechanical part and its engines were identical to the Coupé versions. Lancia also prepared a dozen Zagato for the race called "competizione" for track competitions and hill climbs and obtained good results in international competitions.
