Unique 'coachbuild' Tüscher in the style of the 1930s full size convertible with a second windscreen or partition for the rear seat. The legroom in the back was very generous.
The chassis was supplied by Desoto with a 6 cylinder engine.
DeSoto, also sometimes spelled De Soto, was created by Chrysler in 1928 and discontinued by the same company in 1960.
The Carrosserie Tüscher was founded in 1909 by the two brothers Adolf und Fritz Tüscher in Zurich, Switzerland.
In the successful 1930s to 1940s they worked under the trade name Carrosserie Tüscher & Co.
In Zurich, Tüscher provided approximately 280 vehicles with their own bodywork. Usually Plymouth and Chrysler but very exceptionally also this Desoto.
